Through the Years
Next month, it will be 4 years since I adopted Sadie. Right after I adopted her, I was scared. Scared of the responsibility of owning a dog. Scared because I thought maybe I adopted her to "cure" some of my own issues. I got over that pretty quickly, though. Adopting Sadie has been the best thing I've ever done in my life. I love her more than I ever thought I could love any creature, and coming home to her every day makes my life so much better. I thought I'd share some pictures of us through the years...

ReplyDeletei agree with lois, i love the backside shadowy pictures. bailey and i only have one... but i think it just shows the love and togetherness and looking forward.. :D anywhoo, i was like you too, bailey is my first dog, and well, i was scared poopless about if id be a great mom, but you know what, we both turned out to be great moms!! :D cant believe time passes by so fast...

Thanks, everyone! I'm so lucky to have Sadie, and I know she loves me too. We're both a little obsessed with each other haha. But in a good way :) I know you all can agree that the love of a doggie is a special kind of love!
