Sadie has woken me up the past two mornings throwing up on my bed. Good times. Why do they always puke so early in the morning? And why is it always on the bed??
I think everything is ok with her. I mean, after she throws up she seems fine, and is eating and pooping as usual. I'm keeping an eye on her. I'm not sure what the problem is though.
This may be a little TMI, but she has puked up unchewed pieces of potato each time. Maybe that's the issue? I don't know! Any advice/thoughts?
I just feel so bad for her, because she gets so upset after it happens and tries to cover it up. Poor thing. I hope her tummy feels better soon.

Sneezy Sneezertons
I am pretty sure that Sadie is suffering from seasonal allergies, just like I am. The pollen has been insane here lately. My car is covered in a layer of it every morning, and my face is constantly itchy. It’s lovely, really. Sadie has been sneezing a lot more lately. I’m hoping it’s just allergies though; she is acting perfectly normal otherwise. Many times when we are outside, and she is sniffing for the perfect spot to go to the bathroom, the sneezing begins, which is why I’m thinking it’s seasonal allergies. She sneezes in the house, too, but we have had our windows open a lot lately. Everyone is sneezing. At home, and at work. This allergy season has been brutal.
Are your dogs suffering from seasonal allergies right now? Are you? If Sadie is just sneezing and not acting differently otherwise (eating and going to the bathroom as usual, and playing), I shouldn’t worry, right?

The Reverse Sneeze
The reverse sneeze. That’s the best way to describe it. It happens to Sadie sometimes, mainly when she is laying on her back or if she is overly excited. All of a sudden, it sounds like she is gasping for air. Almost wheezing. It scares the crap out of me. She looks so scared, because she can’t breathe normally. I’ve learned to just try to calm her rather than freak out haha. It does help. It helps her relax, and then they seem to end quicker. But I still don’t understand why this happens. Does it happen to your dog? I’ve told the vet we saw in Boston, and she didn’t seem worried about it. She said it’s common. But it just sounds so horrible! Just wondering if anyone else has seen/heard their dog do the same thing?

Cocoa Butter Lotion
Quick question for everyone...I know I posted previously about the fact that Sadie loves to lick me after I put on lotion. She also licks wherever I was sitting as I applied it (usually the bed). But, I just bought some Cocoa Butter lotion, and have been using it for a few days. I am wondering if this could be potentially bad for her because of the cocoa??? Does anyone know? I will stop using it immediately if that is the case, because there's no way I can get her to stop licking! Let me know what you think. I'm wondering if I should stick to a certain kind of lotion if she is going to be licking it. I don't want to risk anything. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
