Found this randomly on the Internet (http://ihasahotdog.com/)...thought I'd share with all my corgi friends. Sounds about right, huh? :) Things have been good for Sadie and me. Nothing too exciting to report. I have some things in the works that may allow some more time at home with Sadie (which would be amazing). And I am starting grad school in a few weeks. Excited and nervous for that!

Other than that, we've been doing a lot of cuddling since it has been so cold. Sadie is my own personal space heater!! And I'm still a little sick. Ugh. Went to the doctor and got some antibiotics, but still not feeling 100% yet. I hope everyone else is doing well!

Well, Hello 2010!

Hello there! I have been MIA lately, because I was on a mini-vacation in my home state of Florida. My parents still live there, so I went to see my mom for a few days. I had to leave Sadie here in NY though with my aunt and uncle. I was very sad to leave her. I really wish I could bring her with me everywhere...it just becomes more of a hassle than it's worth really. But it's ok, because she had a great time with my aunt and uncle, and was as happy as ever to see me come home. It is so wonderful to come home to a jumping, butt-wiggling doggie, isn't it?

Unfortunately I was sick for most of my trip, and I am still pretty congested. Seems like quite a few of you have gotten sick in the new year, too...what a way to start 2010, huh?? Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Christmas Cards

I wanted to post our Christmas card from this year for you all to see...and then thought I should post my last two Christmas cards as well. I've been doing the photo cards since I got Sadie. Snow, Snow, Everywhere!

Well, we got A LOT of snow this weekend...something like 20-23 inches! Sadie was very excited. We went out when it started snowing, and she ran around licking the ground with glee. Then when we woke up on Sunday, the snow was everywhere. Sadie ran outside and immediately fell into the snow and was covered haha. but she popped right back out and bounced around the yard. She had a lot of fun, as you can see from the pics! Other than playing in the snow, we did a lot of baking and sitting by the fire. We also put lights on our tree and made a very ugly gingerbread house (which has already fallen apart haha). (Sorry if picture quality is bad -- took these on my phone.) Hope everyone had a good weekend!
