It seems like everyone is posting their nicknames for their dogs, so I figured I would do the same! It’s so fun to see everyone’s nicknames. How do we come up with these?? Sadie has quite a few...
Barky McBarkerson
Barky McGee
Bunny
Bunny Bear
Butt Face
Butt Head
Chicken Butt
Fatty
Fart Face
Farts McGee
Monkey
Monkey Butt
Monkey Face
PAB (Can you figure out what this stands for? Haha.)
Punk
Punky Brewster
Punky Punkertons
Saders
Sader Taters
Sadie Kins
Stinky
Stinkerbelle
Taters
Tater Tots
Those are definitely the most popular ones haha. Sometimes names just come to me when I am looking at her. And sometimes they are silly or mean, as evidenced above. But I say it in the cute (annoying?) baby voice, and she seems to like it. Or maybe she’s thinking, “Butt Face?? YOU’RE THE BUTT FACE, MAMA!”

Illustrated Sadie
I enlisted Kelly from Corgi Butts to do an illustration of Sadie. I loved all the drawings she had done for other bloggers, and we wanted to get in on the action!
This is the picture I asked her to illustrate:
And here is the awesome illustration:
Incredible, right?? I know you want one, too. And you can get one! Check out this page on Kelly's website for more information about how to order one.

Corgi Creativity
In an effort to find a removable corgi decal for my new (to me) car, I discovered some other fun corgi items I wanted to share with everyone. I have no affiliation with any of these sellers; I just thought these items were too cute to keep to myself! If you haven’t purchased from etsy before, you’re missing out! There is some incredible stuff on there — all handmade! And of course, thanks to Kelly from Corgi Butts, Laurie from The Daily Corgi, and all my other Facebook friends for help finding decals...I still haven’t ordered one, because I am insanely indecisive, but now I have several options to choose from :)
Look at this adorable corgi chalkboard!! I think I need this! Don’t you?
I love this notepad, but I probably wouldn’t want to write on it, it’s so cute...
I absolutely love these little corgi bags (there are several varieties on their shop). Perfect when you’re going to the dog park and don’t want to bring your full purse!
Pretty sure this applies to all of our corgis!
Freaking adorable...and she will change the colors so it looks like your dog!
This is just pretty, and cute. I’d wear it all the time...
And two decals I really liked...

Coffee with a Canine
We were approached recently by a fellow blogger, and asked to do an interview for their blog, Coffee with a Canine. Check out the blog; it's a really cool idea! Basically, I answered a few questions about myself and Sadie, and enjoyed some coffee while doing so (only I enjoyed the coffee, of course!). I hope you'll check it out! Here's our interview:

Doggie Breath
Now, I know dogs have bad breath. But Sadie's is pretty nasty. I brush her teeth, but I don't know if I do it often enough. And it seriously only helps for a little bit. I know sometimes she gets into the cat's litter box and eats their poop (gross, I know). She had stopped this for awhile, but I have discovered her doing it again. Obviously that would make her breath smell disgusting, but even when she doesn't do that, it's rancid!! The vet says her teeth are good; she has a little bit of tartar on her back teeth, but nothing crazy. The vet suggested a cleaning before it gets a lot worse. (I'm also scared about getting her teeth cleaned, since they have to put them under anesthesia. I'm paranoid.) Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help with her stinky breath! Is this a corgi thing? Or just a dog thing in general? I've seen breath freshener liquids at the pet store that you add to their water, but not sure if that is good for them, or if it even would help. Any suggestions would help!

Frosty Paws
Sadie LOVES Frosty Paws. Has your dog tried them? I call them "licky licky" and when I ask her if she wants "licky licky," she starts salivating haha. The cutest thing is she picks up the little cup by the lip on the top, and carries it to where she prefers to eat it (which is usually my room). It cracks me up. I took some pics of Sadie and her doggie cousin, Harlie, enjoying a nice summer treat...I think I should submit the last one to Frosty Paws! Hahaha.
