Halloween Costumes

I have already starting seeing the dog Halloween costumes at PetSmart and Target...but I'm still not sure what Sadie will be this year. There are some cute options out there!! Yes, I torture her every year with a Halloween costume.

Here are her costumes from the past few years:

Do you dress your dogs up for Halloween? If so, what are they going to be this year? :)

  1. I am so excited because Gibson and I are going to be Ed and Ein from Cowboy Bebop! :) (http://www.ezthemes.com/previews/e/ed-ein_wp.jpg). I thought it was perfect because they are both so easy and Gibson does not tolerate costumes for more than a minute and a half! :)

  2. the skeleton is my favorite! sooo cute! sammy did dress up for halloween last year, although it was not a costume! he wore a halloween sweater. it was orange and black striped with a skull and crossbones on the back. i planned on using it again this year, but he too chunky for it! when i was at petco i saw that they have it again, except that it is black and white. sammy will probably get it.
kelly, that is awesome. is ben going to be spike?

  3. Awww that's awesome, Kelly! And perfect for Gibson hehe. Sadie's not a fan of the costumes really...well mainly if they have anything on her head. Then she really refuses. So I might go with something like the skeleton costume again, or like the sweater Sammy had, Bri! She doesn't mind t-shirts, so we might just do that :) We'll post pics regardless!

  5. I dressed Whiskey up last year (which was her first halloween with us) She was a lady bug. I went back to target right after halloween ended and they had their costumes 75% off so I got her a hot dog for this year. :-) I love dressing whiskey up and she seems to tolerate it, if lot of treats are in the works.
Kelly that is awesome! must post pictures

I might have Brian wear it this year...and Ein could be Ein from Cowboy Bebop lol

  10. hehe, I love the devil...
Bailey is going to be an angel this year...my husband always gets a good laugh when he thinks about it, and I think he is actually excited to dress her up as an angel and show her off to everyone that knows her...I am sure they will get a good laugh as well...next year, I will probably be more appropriate and put my lil devil in a devil costume :-)

  11. Stanley was a banana last year. It was adorable but he wouldn't wear the head piece. Like Katie, I picked up a clearance item after Halloween last year. It's an orange cape with a black skull & crossbones on it. I think he'll tolerate that. I wish I was more crafty so I could make a costume for him. I've got some good ideas! ;)

  12. Bender was the banana last year. He too hated the head piece. Bones was a lobster. I saw a really cute shark costume at petsmart that I may pick up.

  13. I don't dress up Koda for Halloween; he would have a fit if I tried it. He couldn't even tolerate the graduation cap for 30 seconds when he finished puppy school so we could get a picture of him with it on :)

    all cute pictures of Sadie!!

  14. Hehe, I love the skeleton, but how funny that it's totally not Corgi-proportionate :D

I've never dressed Philip up much, though last year I did make him wear a little homemade cape for the doggie party we went to. He was supposed to be a dracula (dogula?). Not sure what I'll do this time, if anything, hmm...

  16. Aj, the Mario costume is amazing!!! Love it.

Awww Bailey will make a cute angel! Even if she is a bit of a devil hehe.

Sounds like the banana costume was popular with corgis last year haha. Sadie HATED the head piece, too. It also looked like she was in the KKK when she wore it, so we took that off pretty fast. I think the picture of the corgi wearing that costume on the packaging sold us all hehe.

Jenny, take pics of Stanley in the cape! Sounds cute :)

Rachel, I saw the shark costume and loved it!! I also liked the pig one haha. Since Sadie is a piggie.

    Thanks, Betty!!

Lyuba, so true about the skeleton costume haha. The first year I got her, she was a lot smaller, so it fit a little better, then she got too big for it!

Karen, my friend did that! Her son was a monkey and her dog was the banana. Super cute!!
